I just remembered
When I first moved out at the tender age of 19, I used to regularly hear the distinct sound of a woman sobbing in the early hours of the morning - first time I heard it I went round the whole flat trying to find the source (I was worried it might be my flatmate but she was asleep), and even stuck my head out of the windows in case it was someone in the street. I thought for a while it might be coming from the flat upstairs, but I’d still hear it when the entire building was empty. I know it could perhaps have been caused by the plumbing or something, I dunno, I’d love to find an explanation for it. Anything weird ever happened to you?
