Cruel tricks of the light

Text

So far today I have:

  • Woken up late after not being able to sleep, then
  • Broke a mirror and
  • Lost my key, meaning I was late leaving the house which meant that
  • I missed my bus, so
  • Was late for work, though it turns out
  • I’d got my days mixed up and my boss goes away tomorrow rather than today, so I didn’t need to be there, and I’m
  • Also working the entire bank holiday weekend
  • What next?
